The MouthPad is housed in a 3D-printed waterproof dental resin casing that houses the processor, battery, Bluetooth wireless module, and a flexible circuit board with built-in pressure sensors. According to the creators, MouthPad will allow the owner to send and receive emails, play video games and do almost everything that a regular computer mouse allows. It is this data that artificial intelligence converts into commands for an electronic device connected via Bluetooth (smartphone, laptop, etc.). This is a kind of analog of a computer mouse, only the hands will not be useful for its use: it will work by determining the position and level of pressure of the user’s tongue. It will allow you to control your smartphone or computer using tongue movements and will be located directly in the owner’s mouth. Augmental, a subsidiary of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), introduced an unusual device called the MouthPad.
